DIRECTOR’S STATEMENT

I wrote the treatment for this challenge around the city of New Orleans, a city that knows about preserving legacy, When I was selected as a Finalist, it just didn't feel right to cheat the shooting location. But I don’t live in New Orleans.  So in one week, how does one prep and shoot a film, with no location, no equipment and no crew and no actors... it's called FAITH! And with that, the Village of New Orleans came together and lifted me to greatness. They thanked me for my commitment to their city and made this film one of my most inspiring works to date. Beyond the storm, know the Crescent City for it's strength, it's humanity and it's courage.  It took a village for me to make this movie, and it will take a village to
